A great way to help a visual learner when it comes to learning is to use diagrams, demonstrations and maps.
Auditory learners having learning styles that provides them with the ability to sound out words when spelling. The phonetic approach works best for this style of learning. Many auditory learners enjoy talking as much as they do listening. These learners will be distracted by sounds and loud noises. Telephones are an auditory learners’ best friend. Verbal instructions will best suit an auditory learner.
When it comes to spelling, a kinesthetic learner would prefer feeling the words. Teaching the kinesthetic learner spelling words would work best by using cut out letters made of sand paper, or letting them draw the words in the sand. If you are one of those that toss the directions and jump right in to put together your newly purchased shelving unit, most likely you are a kinesthetic learner.
