Private School
You may want to send your child to a private school for a variety of reasons, but one thing is certain, you will want to carefully choose the private school. You want to make sure that the private school you choose is a good fit for both you and your child. Nothing is worse than spending hundreds of dollars in tuition only to find that you and your child dislike the school.
There are many considerations to think about when you are looking at a private school for your child. You want to make sure that you agree with the curriculum and the teaching philosophy You also want to look at the student and teacher ratios in the classroom and most importantly, you want to make sure that your child is happy.
Curriculum: When looking at a private school, you should consider the curriculum. If you are not interesting in a parochial school, then you will want to steer clear of a private school that incorporates religion into the curriculum. If you want you child to learn in a Montessori setting, then you do not want to enroll in a private school that is mostly teacher led. This is an important factor to consider.
Your child: Next, you will want to look at your child. Is your child happy? Is he or she making friends? If your child is not happy, then you might as well find another school. If you have a child who is always sad or emotional when you mention school, then he or she is not learning. There is something going on and you need to avoid those situations.
